Monday

It was a bank holiday in Barbados today which meant there was no school on the island which of course consequently meant we had no work to do! A Day off!!

We stayed at Aran and Evans last night.. so we were all keen to go out together on Monday and make the most of our day off! As I said in yesterday's blog, the winner would receive money towards tomorrow's trip to boatyard! We stuck to our plan and headed to boatyard at 11:00. We all felt fine the next morning, there was no heavy drinking or a late night so we all felt pretty refuelled despite the sleeping arrangements of sofa duty for Shaz and myself. I woke up with a horrible taste of Frankfurt sausage in my mouth because of a prank Evan pulled on me last night. The little scumbag poured the warm Frankfurt water from the pan that they used for dinner into an empty bottle that I had drunk from previously.. And stuck it back in the fridge. Silly old me, thought the slightly discoloured contents of the bottle was just condensation because it was back in the fridge. Oh, how I was wrong! He did so well! He put the bottle cap back on perfectly, put it in the freezer and the fridge to make it cold and even carefully tucked away the actual beer I went to get! I was gagging for the rest of the night and as Evan kindly pointed out my face wasn't the same after that. It made everyone chuckle and despite being the brunt of the joke, it was quite funny! Revenge will be sweet though Evan, don't you worry!

Our day at the boatyard was chilled but the weather was pretty poor, with a few hard showers of rain! But weirdly Aran, Evan and Myself managed somehow still to get a bit burnt and red.. Work that one out!

Shaz and I got home at around 6:30 and just chilled for the rest of the night!

Very doubtful that we'll have any sessions tomorrow! Two out of three have cancelled already so I doubt Grantley Adams will break the trend. Fingers crossed though! I miss coaching!
