Day 35

Day 35

Saturday

We had a shocking turnout at our first session today.. Three to be exact! Two 14 year olds and a seven year old. We did a short session with them for around 45 minutes, seeing as they had travelled quite a distance!

Our afternoon consisted of watching the England game. I don't know what it is about England but any non competitive game that they play in seems to be SOOOOOO boring! We met up with the boys again to watch it but Evan isn't a keen fan of England and was definitely supporting Honduras. Evan's from Limerick, Ireland and they're not in the World Cup so I just think he's being bitter. Knob head.

Straight from the England game we went to the globe which is a drive through cinema! None of us had ever been to one before so it was a real cool experience. We headed down there for the 9:00 screening of Godzilla, but we managed to catch the end of XMen which started at 6:45. It's so cool there though, you tune into 107.3 or 87.3 on your radio and you watch the film in your car, feet up, chair back, doors open, chilled out with a bag of popcorn in your hand! Can't complain!! It's not pricey at all either. You pay 15 dollars admission which is 5 pounds and that allows you to watch two screenings (depending on what time you get there), so £2.50 per film in essence. Godzilla was pretty average I thought.. I got so lost and I'm not even sure if I can tell you the storyline! When something really exciting happens in the film, everyone stars beeping which had me in absolute stitches! That's my level of maturity by the way. There was one part where Godzilla absolutely obliterated another creature and everyone was going mental on their horns! So funny! I took full advantage of that privilege  throughout the film.

A pretty awesome day in all fairness, the day progressively got better which is the main thing! The drive in cinema really made my day!

All the best

Luke
