Day 27

Day 27

Friday started with the continuation from our 'coaching coaches' course. Shaz and I have our Fridays dedicated to providing the Barbados community college students with some theory coaching, laws of the game education and then a practical session.. All spread out over 3 hours from 9-12. The session went really well and the class were fantastic at answering and asking questions, giving feedback and they definitely kept us on our toes in terms of knowing our stuff!

Our second session was at Coleridge and Parry who have even little terrors the last couple weeks but today they were pretty good in all fairness!  Yet again though they had a match so we couldn't massively overwork them!

We took our usual Friday afternoon trip down to the oistins area for our Christchurch session however we got there only to find out that Mr Boyce, a Londoner mightn't I mention, had been ringing us for the last 20 mins to tell us to turn around as exams meant that only 3 girls had turned up. What a shame! We really enjoy our sessions there.

It was too late to go and get our beach stuff and go to our local beach so we caught the end of the England game vs Peru! I'm Glad to see they won 3-0 and they're enjoying winning ways before the World Cup starts. Both Shaz and myself are absolutely buzzing for the World Cup to start! Columbia are playing Senegal tomorrow in a warm up game so I'm sure Shaz will want to watch that!

All the best

Luke
