Day 31
Tuesday.
We had a late start today because of the Barbados exam period meant St Michaels have pulled out of the programme for a couple weeks!
This meant we had Ellerslie first, their last session before exams! The session went very well, we covered shooting this week seeing as we have focused on passing, control and dribbling in the weeks before. The drill we did, can get quite messy in terms of balls flying everywhere and stuff but the class seemed to really take to the drill which meant we could vary the exercise alot more allowing them to learn more, which of course is great!!
We rang Grantley Adams after our Ellerslie session. They were our scheduled next school but the last few weeks have been quite edgy in terms of attendance and timing so we rang them to ask about the session, rather than travel their for no reason! When we rang the receptionist seemed quite reluctant to put us through to the PE department but she advised us that she wouldn't recommend us coming all the way from Bridgetown, considering the inconsistency of the last few weeks.
A one session day! A good one at that. Despite the disappointment in terms of coaching, it allows Shaz and Myself to get some much needed rest!!
We decided to make the most of our Tuesday evening by visiting the cinema to watch Blended at 9:00. I really liked it, because it had one of my favourite actors in it.. Adam Sandler! The film was quite cheesy but the storyline was pretty funny and I'm never one to turn down a bit of comedy! It was set in South Africa, which made me miss Cape Town massively and it edged me on even more to visit as soon as possible in the near future! Really missing the Festers, Woodman and Africa family! I'm sure Jeff would agree!
All the best
Luke
