Day 8

Day 8.

Today was Sunday! Our scheduled day off. We had planned to meet Aran and Evans at a sports bar called bubba's to watch the premier league title race unfold and to watch Arsenal in their last game of the premier league season. The sports bar was extremely expensive but the venue itself was amazing! It had 95% of the premier league games on a dozen screens! Couldn't ask for more. Arsenal won 2-0 and I was absolutely buzzing for Jenkinson to score his first goal for Arsenal!

After watching the football, we headed to the beach! A rather stony one at that! I stupidly ran into the sea only to realise it was full of rocks so I stubbed my foot, so I chilled with Shaz instead! Aran and Evan of course went in despite the rocks!

We separated ways after the beach and agreed to meet up later to watch Shaz in her debut match for Mavericks FC. She did very well! The girls football team pass it around so much better than the men's team in my opinion, and they are similarly ..ridiculously fast!

A nice social day overall! Looking forward to our sessions tomorrow, considering we have a very disruptive first class in St George's.
