Really good day today. I think Shaz would agree that we achieved yesterday's target of coming back with a bang. Both sessions went really well and we were very pumped at the end of the day!
Our first session yesterday was at St Winifred's which is a private school. There was a big passion for soccer here and even the principal joined in, after putting his kit on. A PSG top and a pair of Nike 5 Astros. He had an absolute mare of a game, being at fault for two of his teams goals that they conceded. AND he missed the penalty that would win them the game in the penalty shoot out. This was a great session and it was awesome to see that there was support from the principal.
The second school on our programme was called lodge school. Shak, our chaperone for the week, went to this school for Sixth Form. So she knew all of the teachers there etc. She is a massive help!! Despite the pupils arriving around 20 minutes late.. The session went very well and there was some great talent on show. The boys cooperated, did the exercises fantastically and listened throughout our session. No complaints!!
We dropped Shak home and got home no troubles for once! We are slowly but surely improving our knowledge of the island which is good. The ABC highway is a bit of a bummer at the minute because of road works so that adds around half an hour on to our journey :(!
Still pumped and full of enthusiasm when we got home, Shaz and I decided to go for a jog. Time to shed a few pounds! Shaz had a terrible time jogging, pulling up with "stitch" after a matter of seconds. Hilarious! We are gonna slowly up the amount of laps we do of our area, each week. I think we can do it! Shaz works in a gym so she has a good understanding of fitness etc. We started with 3 laps this week.
A really enjoyable day!
All the best
Luke
