Day 11
I think Shaz would agree with me when I say Wednesdays are our favourite day! We have St Winifred's in the morning which is personally my favourite school. Firstly because the principal is really enthusiastic and enjoys our sessions. But also because the children are a delight to teach!
Arriving at our next session, I stumbled across the realisation that I had left my watch and yellow+red cards that I have had for years! Absolutely gutting! I will have to email them tonight. They work really in sessions because the kids understand that yellow is a warning and red means you have to sit out for 10 minutes.
Daryll Jordan cancelled in our midday/afternoon so we headed home to the Holder household to chill for an hour or so!
We had a long drive to The Lodge school which was quite tricky to get to but we still managed to get there ahead of schedule. Shaz's Map reading skills are getting good to be fair to her!
Everything went well today! We have a tough day tomorrow with Alma Paris, statistically the worst school in Barbados. A lot of kids there have ADHD, Behaviour problems.. So the session tends to be quite difficult.
All the best
Luke
