Day 12

Thursday.

We started off at Frederick Smith school today. This was our first session there after last week being cancelled. We introduced ourselves to Mr Blackman and set up for our session! The boys were excited for us to be there and the session went well, despite a few arguments between the participants!

Our next session was at Alma Paris. Which Shaz and I somewhat dread. Not because of the school itself but it's hard to construct a proper session to the standard we want. However, we are coaches, we should be able to adjust to different coaching environments.. And that's exactly what we did. We found that the boys were more focused and well behaved in exercises where they were all doing something at all times. So we adjusted our session so that we could still get the learning objective of passing across but in a way that would suit the way they learn! We had no arguments at all and our session went really well so we were certainly happy with that!!

Our last session at Harrison College was cancelled due to a match taking place. We rang them prior to our scheduled leaving time so we didn't make a wasted trip. Thank god!

Our cancelled session only meant one thing... BEACH TIME! Shaz and I had been craving a beach day so it was quite nice to hear that we had some time off in the afternoon. We had some drinks by the beach in a bar called Mullins which was nice and spent the majority of the afternoon/early evening on the beach! Can't complain.
